Violence Prevention Center

During this stressful time in life, violence can increase for those in unsafe situations. The Violence Prevention Center is available 24 hours a day to support all who have been subjected to or affected by domestic and sexual violence.

Though the office is closed, VPC can assist you with all the same services over the phone. The VPC confidential phone line will continue to be answered 24/7 by a trained advocate at 218-387-1237 and 218-387-1262.

The governor’s stay-at-home executive order does NOT mean to stay in an unsafe home. The governor listed the first exemption to the order as "Relocation for Safety." It is encouraged to leave your home if home is not safe. If you feel unsafe in your home, call VPC to receive temporary safe housing. If you are in immediate danger, call 911
