Cook County Schools
Cook County Schools

School District 166 Principal Adam Nelson resigned to take a superintendent position in Wrenshall in December 2017. Some restructuring took place – Assistant Principal Bill DeWitt became K-12 principal and the school district needed to find an assistant principal. At the January 16 school board meeting, the board affirmed the appointment of Social Studies Teacher Mitch Dorr.

During a special meeting of the ISD 166 School Board meeting on March 22, this administrative plan was approved moving forward. WTIP’s Jay Andersen spoke to Superintendent Bill Crandall about this and other school news.
