Northern Music Hour: Craftsman Steve Dahl and the langeleik

The Northern Music Hour is a one-hour program exploring the musical heritage of the North Shore's Scandinavian settlers. As part of the December 2019 program, producer Martha Marnocha talked with craftsman - and Lake Superior fisherman - Steve Dahl about his exploration and replication of a little-known Norwegian folk instrument called a langeleik.

More information on Steve Dahl's Celtic harps and Norwegian langeleiks can be found at dahlharps.com.
