Great vegetable varieties for Northeastern Minnesota

This month’s edition of Northern Gardening explored great vegetable varieties for Northeastern Minnesota - a continuation of last month’s discussion.

Learn about vegetable varieties that are ‘tried and true’ for our area from a number of local market gardeners from St. Louis, Lake, and Cook counties, including Bob Olen, a longtime horticulturist for St. Louis county and market gardener; Cree Bradley from Chelsea Morning Farm in Two Harbors; Pat Berger from Boreal Bounty Farm in Two Harbors; Ian Andrus from Creaking Tree Farm in Lutsen; Nick Wharton from Good Nature Farm in Grand Marais; Melinda Spinler from the Maple Hill Sugarbush & Farm in Grand Marais; and Lise Abazs from Round River Farm.
