The city of Grand Marais once again tackled some tough topics at the regular meeting on Wednesday, July 10. Many of the items will be revisited at future meetings, so WTIP's Rhonda Silence checked in with Mayor Jay Arrowsmith DeCoux on those matters.

Below is their full conversation, starting with an explanation of the delay in the vote on the Grand Marais Public Utilities Commission recommendation to pass a city resolution supporting the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act.

At [10:14], we talk to the mayor about the foul odor from the Grand Marais wastewater treatment plant, which seems to have improved.

Finally, at [14:13], we check in with the mayor to learn more about plans for the city hall/liquor store building.
