The Tempest auditions
The Grand Marais Playhouse will hold auditions for The Tempest by William Shakespeare on Monday, March 8 by appointment over Zoom. The auditions are open to middle school through adults with priority casting going to high school-age community members. A large technical crew is also needed for this production.

Ruby's Pantry
Ruby's Pantry will be holding a drive-thru food distribution on Tuesday, March 9 from 4:30 - 6:00 pm, at the Cook County Community Center. Vehicles should come down Creechville Road from the Gunflint Trail.

Superior Shares
Lake Superior Writers presents Superior Shares, an open mic for local writers to share their work in progress, and for anyone else who just wants to listen. “Reflecting Light Into Darkness”
“Reflecting Light Into Darkness”, an exhibit featuring artwork by the Spirit of the Wilderness and ISD 166 students is currently on display at the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery. The exhibit runs through Sunday, March 28.
Gallery hours are Thursdays 1-4 pm, Friday and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm, and Sundays 1-4 pm. More information at johnsonheritagepost.org or 218-387-2314.
"A Wrinkle in Time" perfomances
The Grand Marais Playhouse is pleased to present “A Wrinkle In Time” by Morgan Gould, based on the novel by Madeline L’Engle. The play will be presented live at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts for a limited audience, following COVID-19 safety protocols, and will also be live-streamed. The performances are Friday, March 12 at 7 PM, Saturday and Sunday, March 13 &
14 at 2 PM.

"No Vacancy"
"No Vacancy", a sidewalk viewing, storefront exhibition by Lutsen artist Greg Mueller is on display in the windows Studio 17 (the Grand Marais Art Colony's new building on Highway 61). The exhibit will remain on view through March 30.
