Medicare Presentation & Individual Counseling

Minnesota Master Naturalist Training

Winter camping workshop

Tettegouche State Park hosts a winter camping workshop on Saturday, February 23 from 9 am to 4 pm.  Meet in the Visitor Center, then head outside.  The Tettegouche State Park Naturalist will lead this one-day introduction to winter camping, including cooking outdoors in the snow, tricks for staying dry and warm in the winter, and methods of transporting gear through the snow.  The workshop will also include building a traditional quinzhee, or insulated snow cave.  More information at (218)-353-8809.

Ski field trip through George Washington Pines

Gunflint District Ranger Mike Crotteau will lead a ski field trip through George Washington Pines on Satuday, February 23.  Participants should meet at the George Washington Pines parking lot at 10 am.  Crotteau will answer questions about the Forest Service Kimball Project during the trip.  More information at (218) 387-1750.

Vintage snowmobile ride

Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) sponsors Rural Rides, a program for those experiencing transportation difficulties. 2019 Lundie vacation home tour
