Underwriting Support
An underwriter is a business that wants to support an important community asset and increase their business’ exposure.
Underwriting also offers your business two important benefits: effective marketing and a proven increase in sales/exposure. National studies have shown that listeners not only have a more positive image of a company that underwrites on public radio; they are also more likely to purchase services from that company.
Who will hear your message?
WTIP has a strong base of local and out-of-area listeners.
Composition of our core listeners (those who listen on either a daily or weekly basis):
- 57% have completed 16 years or more of formal education
- 13% have completed 13-16 years of education
- 46% are 55 years or older
- 39% range from 35 – 54 years old
- 45% are employed full-time
- 32% are retired
