10:00 AM – “Swing Session” – The music on this show first was heard on the old Philco tube radios, among others, but is as alive today as it was then. Bill Burkhardt produces this show only for WTIP. “Swing Session” is brought to you by you, our listener members.

5:00 PM – “The Road House” – Buck Benson and Bob Carter are in tonight for the two-hour show that starts off the evening for the residents of the North Woods. This two always have interesting interviews, humorous banter and commentary, and, good music.

7:00 PM – “Small Change” – As ‘Small Changers’ know, the action is fast and furious on this trivia game show. Join your Beth Olson and Susan Maijala tonight and try to get your answer first. You might want to program 387-1070 or 800-473-9847 into your speed dial if you’re going to play.

8:00 PM – “Remember When” – Bruce McDonald and Steve Forsberg are in Studio A to provide two hours of music the way it used to be. Bruce does a show that brings back memories for some of us and creates memories for others. Listen in to hear an experienced WTIP broadcaster with a great show.

10:00 PM – “Metal Maniacs” – This is a show for those who love Heavy Metal and Classic Rock. Join Brandon Cole and Mike Smith for a show that shouts “Turn It Up! Loud!”

3:00 PM – “Clean Plate Club” – Join Anne Swallow Gillis and Chris Gillis for this weekly show about eating and the sustainable production of food. This week’s show will focus on the baking of bread. It will include an interview with Amy James who teaches bread baking at the North House Folk School. The Clean Plate Hosts also are trying to get a very busy baker into the studio for an interview about bread.

4:00 PM – “Polka Time” – Sue Maijala is in the house today with her collection of Polka classics to get you up and off the couch. Put on your dancing shoes and prepare to enjoy.

5:00 PM- “Classic Country” – Radioactive Jim is in Studio B to provide you with four hours of the best in Country music. This man knows his country and loves sharing this American music with you.

9:00 PM – “Sounds of the Spirit” – BJ Muus is your host for a contemplative evening of spiritual music that will help you prepare for the new week. The opening half hour includes the syndicated program “Sing for Joy” from St. Olaf College in Northfield, followed by music selected for you by BJ.

You’ll hear the BBC News, Minnesota News Connection and from the Associated Press. There also will be “Out and About,” good music, and, the Pop Quiz is on at 9:30.

10:00 AM – “Swing Session” – Travel back to the ‘30s and ‘40s for one of WTIP listeners’ favorite shows. Bill Burkhardt brings you a high-quality selection during this WTIP exclusive.

10:30 AM - “Sidetracks” – Join Captain Matthew Brown at the helm of this variety music show that is a favorite with WTIP listeners. If you have something you want him to play, give him a call at 387-1070 or 800-473-9847.

4:00 PM – “First Nation’s Time” – Lil Fisher and John Morrin take you on a journey through the musical culture of the First Nations. 8:00 AM – “AM Community Calendar” – Mary Manning and Jane Burke are your hosts this morning with two hours of good morning radio to start WTIP’s 10th Birthday.  They will bring you “Health Beat,” along with news from the BBC and Associated Press, weather and other local info. There also will be the ever-popular “Pop Quiz” at 9:30.

10:00 AM – “Swing Session” – This Bill Burkhardt production of Swing music is a favorite with listeners of all ages. Bill has put together another great show today and you’ll find this show only on WTIP.

10:30 AM – “Side Tracks” – Matthew Brown is in Studio B to give you your fix of a variety of music. He does all the work in picking good music for you, so all you have to do is sit back with that cup of coffee or tea and enjoy.

4:00 PM – “Women in Music” – Maxene Linehan is your host has an hour of great music written and/or performed by women. Maxene always has a variety of the best in women’s music and she enjoys playing it for you.

5:00 PM – “PM Community Calendar” – Todd Miller and Gabe Bethke are your hosts for tonight’s news, weather and information show. They provide the BBC News, National Native News, a rebroadcast of this morning’s “Health Beat” and other features. There will be sports talk!

7:00 PM – “Old Time Radio” – Peter Igoe brings you some of the best of the radio plays from an earlier era. During that era, radio provided the audio and the listeners came up with their own illustrations in their minds. 10:00 AM – “Swing Session” – Those who lived through the Swing Era know how good the music was. If you weren’t around back then, you can learn why those who were remember and love the music. Bill Burkhardt does ths show only for you, the WTIP listeners.

10:30 AM – “Sidetracks” – Get over the Wednesday hump this week with Matthew Brown and 90 minutes of great music from a variety of genres. Remember, he’ll take requests at 387-1070 or 800-473-984.
