In celebration of the 10th Annual Radio Waves Music Festival – scheduled for September 8 to 10, 2017 - WTIP invites artists to submit designs to be considered for this year’s festival logo, to be used for event marketing and t-shirts. The submission deadline is Friday, May 12, with the winning entry to be determined mid-June.
Submissions must be original artwork and of a size easily scalable for a variety of uses, including ads, t-shirts and posters. All formats are acceptable, however digital artwork is preferred - if possible - and ideally in a vectored format. “WTIP’s” or “WTIP presents” and the words “Radio Waves Music Festival” must be prominent in the design, as well as “10th Annual” and/or “X” (representing 10 years). The ideal design will be distinctive and imaginative – reflecting the creativity and diversity that has come to be associated with this annual event. Keep in mind that Radio Waves features musicians/bands from a variety of genres (including folk, rock, blues, jazz and more), and is a family-friendly event.

If your design is selected, we will contact you to secure the original and finalize details. In addition to being credited for creating the design, the winning artist will also receive a weekend pass to this year’s event and a festival t-shirt.
