Local nurses Teresa Borak and Patty Doherty stopped by the Roadhouse Nov. 26 to talk with Bob about their volunteer medical work with Partner for Surgery in Guatemala. There will be a fundraiser for their efforts Dec. 3 and 4 at Betsy Bowen's Studio in Grand Marais.
Jon Turk stopped in to Studio A Nov. 19 to talk with Buck about his recent book, "The Raven's Gift," his amazing personal journey with a shaman in the Siberian wilderness. He was in Grand Marais for the Winterer's Gathering at North House Folk School.
Lucas Will and Greg Petry visited with Buck in studio Nov. 12 about their successful Superior Dream expedition, circumnavigating Lake Superior by kayak. Now they're working on a documentary about their adventure.
