Rose has been a volunteer with WTIP since Valentine's Day 2009.  She is the creator and voice of the Saturday Morning Story, featured on North Shore Weekend.  Some favorites of Rose's include young adult books like "The Golden Compass" and "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe".  You might be surprised to learn that Rose hails from the "Homemade Pie Capital of Minnesota", and is a champion pie baker.  Her favorite quote:  "The shortest distance between truth and a human being is a story" - Anthony deMello.  When asked about WTIP, Rose says "I love all the variety and that it is so local.  When I first heard the snow report I felt like I had truly moved to the North".
