Clearwater Hot Club performs Gypsy Jazz on Friday May 18 from 9 PM to 12 AM at Gun Flint Tavern in downtown Grand Marais. They're joined this weekend by special guests, guitarist Jason Vanderford of San Francisco, and Martha Larson, jazz cellist from Chicago. 

Briand Morrison will perform on Friday, May 18 from 9 PM to 12 AM at the Antlers Lounge, Grand Portage Lodge and Casino.

“The WolfGang,” a Twin Cities based ensemble with a Cook County connection, will be performing instrumental music from the time of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a program entitled “The Mannheim Connection.” The ensemble will have two performances over the weekend, the first will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Grand Marais on Saturday, May 19, at 7 PM, and is a fundraiser for the church's organ fund.  For both programs a donation at the door is suggested.

The North Shore Music Association is hosting a concert with the Minneapolis based Titambe West African Dance and Drum Ensemble.  The concert is Saturday, May 19 starting at 7PM at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts in Grand Marais.  Tickets sold at the door or in advance at www.tix.com For more information call Kate Fitzgerald at 387-2916

The Sivertones bring their cool jazz to Gun Flint Tavern, downtown Grand Marais on Sunday, May 20 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM.

Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter Pete Kavanaugh brings his solo acoustic show to the Birch Terrace on Wednesday, May 23 from 7 to 9:30 PM.
