More than 13 million older adults in America are economically insecure. They live one bad break, one accident, or one layoff away from economic disaster. To spotlight their struggles and call for change, ElderNomics Minnesota and the National Council on Aging are launching One Away, a national advocacy campaign that uses video to allow older adults to tell their own stories.

Barbara Battiste is with ElderNomics Minnesota and she spoke with WTIP’s Barbara Jean Johnson on Friday, April 15, about the problem of economic insecurity and the One Away video project.
