The city of Grand Marais went on record Wednesday in support of the public library expansion plan. It did so as the library board nears the time it will present more formal plans to the county board as a result of the 1 percent sales tax passage. Currently the plan proposes a 3,000 square foot addition for an estimated $700,000 price tag.
