Three-day welding course

Cook County Higher Education is holding a three-day welding course Friday, January 27th through Sunday, January 29th at the Cook County High School industrial tech room. Instructor Don Hammer will teach students basic welding fundamentals of gas and electric welding and cutting procedures. John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon

The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is Sunday, January 29th through Thursday, February 2nd. Volunteers are needed for road crossings, start and finish lines, vet checks, timing, and more. More information is available at beargrease dot com.
